Polaron Connect invites you to an upcoming Lunch and Learn: Human Rights in Focus.
During this session, experienced professionals will share insights into the impactful efforts their organisations undertake to assist refugees and newly arrived migrants. This includes providing essential legal services and helping them settle and integrate into their new communities.
We are honoured to welcome two distinguished speakers:
- Ian Tymms from Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, an organisation dedicated to assisting street children in Vietnam and rescuing individuals trafficked across borders. Blue Dragon plays a critical role in providing care, legal aid, and long-term support to survivors of trafficking.
- Gabrielle Marchetti from JobWatch, an independent, not-for-profit employment rights legal centre. JobWatch supports workers across Victoria, Queensland, and Tasmania, providing legal advice and advocacy to uphold fair treatment in the workplace, particularly for vulnerable and marginalised workers.
This session is an excellent opportunity to network and discuss challenges, workshop solutions, share tools, programs and services that may be available to you and similar organisations.
Please get in touch with us at kimberly.m@polaron.org or 1300 88 55 61 to secure your spot.
