At Polaron, we believe that access to technology is essential for participation, connection and opportunity in today’s world. That’s why in 2024, we launched our Digital Device Donation Program to support communities and organisations who need it most. 

What the program offers 

Through this initiative, Polaron provides digital devices such as laptops to eligible organisations and community groups. Our goal is to bridge the digital divide and help community members access essential services, education and opportunities online. 

Who can apply 

If you are a representative of an organisation or community group and believe your local community would benefit from digital devices, you can apply to be part of this program. 

Our commitment 

Depending on the availability of our devices, they are allocated based on: 

• The level of need in your community 

• The number of people who will benefit 

• The organisation’s capacity to distribute and support the use of the devices 

We do our best to ensure devices are allocated fairly and transparently, prioritising communities that face significant barriers to digital access.

If your organisation is interested in receiving digital devices, get in touch with our team at connect@polaron.org with the subject line “Digital Device Donation.” In your email, include a brief overview of your community’s needs and how the devices will be used.
