Anti-Slavery Policy
Polaron Connect is firmly committed to eliminating slavery in all forms. We act with integrity and expect everyone we work with to do the same.
What we do
- We have adopted and implemented an Anti-Modern Slavery Policy
- We conduct regular risk assessments of our operations and supply chains
- We provide training and professional development, including sessions with experts such as the Australian Federal Police
- We maintain safe and accessible mechanisms for reporting risks or concerns
Working with Suppliers
- All potential suppliers are assessed for risks of modern slavery and human rights violations
- We provide our suppliers with a copy of our policy and require them to confirm the steps they are taking
- If risks cannot be addressed, we change suppliers. Any illegal activity is reported to authorities
Accountability
We include clear prohibitions in our contracts against forced, trafficked or exploitative labour. We regularly review compliance through due diligence and audits.
Our Expectations
Polaron Connect expects all suppliers, contractors and partners to:
- Operate lawfully and ethically.
- Proactively address risks of modern slavery.
- Share our commitment to human rights and fair labour practices.
