Who we are

We are a passionate team of skilled multilingual project managers, community engagement specialists and linguists.

Established 25 years ago, Polaron is an award-winning, community-led multicultural communications, engagement and research services provider with offices in Australia, US, UK and Europe.

Noticing that diverse communities were often underrepresented through language and cultural barriers, we were founded on the continuing mission to transform communications and empower multicultural voices. We believe everyone should have access to the same information, regardless of language or cultural differences.

At Polaron, every day begins and ends with bringing positive change to the communities in which we work and live.

How we started

Polaron’s founder, Eva Hussain, came to Australia in the 1980s as a young refugee from Poland. Eva began Polaron by offering Polish translations and interpreting from her own laundry room. Those humble beginnings were the building blocks of what the company is today.
