Born in India and now calling Melbourne home, Nas finds inspiration in the city’s incredible ability to bring together people from diverse backgrounds, traditions and perspectives. 

For Nas, cultural diversity is a lived experience. Poetically speaking, he sees Melbourne as a vibrant mosaic where different traditions coexist, shaping a unique sense of belonging. One of his favourite words, “Ishq” (عشق) is deeply rooted in his mother tongue, Urdu; it symbolises a love that transcends barriers, whether spiritual, romantic or humanistic.
