Houdaii is a Postdoctoral researcher at Monash University specialising in Microbiology. Before coming to Australia to do her PhD, she was an Assistant Lecturer of Microbiology in Egypt.  

She joined Polaron as a Youth Advisory Panel member as she aspires to use her voice to make a change in people’s lives. She enjoys travelling, socialising with family and friends, and listening to music/singing.
