Tharidhu Peries is a recent graduate from La Trobe University, holding a Bachelor of Global Studies majoring in International Relations & Sustainability. He shares a passion for advocating towards environmental sustainability and equal education for all. 

He is a published researcher & writer with his recent research report to the Parliament of Victoria focusing on State School Education in Victoria. He was a nominee for the Community Changemaker Award at Youth Awards 2023 for his efforts towards supporting young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. 

On the panel, Tharidhu would focus on promoting policies that integrate environmental sustainability with social equity, incorporating youth driven initiatives, ensuring that diverse communities are supported in adapting to and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
