Shandana is an impact-driven professional with extensive experience in community engagement, capacity building, and community development. With a strong foundation in stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and project delivery, she thrives on creating inclusive, sustainable solutions that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Over the years, she has worked extensively within the disability and multicultural sectors—advocating for equity, amplifying underrepresented voices, and driving initiatives that promote inclusion. Her approach is collaborative and people-centered, always focused on building genuine relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes.
Aside from her professional life, Shandana is a respected community leader in Blacktown LGA, a voice of the community and actively working on the cause of empowerment of women from multicultural backgrounds. She is the founder and Manager of a grass-root community organization, Communities in Fellowship Together, supporting and empowering women and children from multicultural background. She is part of various regional advisory committees including Multicultural, Women and Access and Inclusion committees to share her insights and provide advice. She was featured in Blacktown’s very first “Women of Blacktown” book which is a collection of stories of 25 exceptional women leaders, professionals and change makers of Blacktown.
