Khujesta Qeyam

Khujesta is a dedicated community advocate with a strong background in administration, project coordination, and community development. Originally from Afghanistan, she moved to Australia in 2024 and holds double Bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Mining, and Islamic Studies.
She has led initiatives that empower women and vulnerable groups, with expertise in stakeholder engagement, gender-based violence, strategic planning, and financial management. Currently, she works as a Lead Digital Mentor with Collective Leisure and a Community Mobiliser with Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS).
Fluent in six languages, Khujesta connects easily with diverse communities. She is pursuing a Management degree to further develop her leadership and organisational skills, with a clear vision of becoming a future leader committed to equity and inclusion.
