Lunch and Learn

April 10 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As AI and technology continues to transform our lives, now more than ever, we must remain responsive to the communication needs of the diverse communities we work with.

In collaboration with the NSW Statewide Health Literacy Hub and the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Services, Polaron Connect invites you to the Sydney edition of our well-loved Lunch and Learn series.

This session is called ‘AI, Health Translation & Intersectionality: Keeping CALD Voices at the Heart of Innovation’. In this session we explores the intersection of AI and healthcare, tackle some of the emerging issues and attempt to come up with some simple but effective solutions for the communities we serve.

This is what you can expect:

  • Insightful presentations on good practice in health communication.
  • Engaging panel discussion featuring industry experts including Dana Mouwad and Dipti Zachariah from NSW Statewide Health Literacy Hub, Jesusa Helaratne from NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service and Eva Hussain from Polaron Connect.
  • Workshop-style session on how to solve some of the challenges faced by multicultural communities in accessing health information.
  • Opportunity to connect with other participants from the NGO, academic, government, language and community sector.
