Joey works as a paralegal in a migration firm and is also a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist in the Philippines. She recently finished her Bachelor of Laws degree at Victoria University and is currently doing her Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.  

She hopes to be admitted to the Victorian Legal Admissions Board to obtain a practising certificate to practise being a lawyer here in Melbourne. She aspires to become a migration and employment lawyer as she has always been passionate about helping people, especially in achieving their great migration dream and to stand for the rights of employees who are victims of common workplace issues.
