Jaida Boateng

Member – Polaron’s Youth Advisory Panel 

Jaida is an aspiring lawyer currently completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney, with a strong passion for human rights, social justice, and access to education. She is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to be heard and represented– especially those from marginalised communities. As a youth representative on Amnesty International’s NSW Youth Advisory Group, she advocates for the repeal of discriminatory systems and work to address racism and inequality at both local and national levels. Alongside her advocacy work, Jaida runs a small business dedicated to curly and coily hair care, providing treatments that promote healthy growth and help people embrace their natural beauty. Whether through law, activism, or community work,  Jaida is committed to creating a fairer, more inclusive future for all.
