Joey has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science and is a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Philippines. Before moving to Melbourne in 2018, she spent three years as a university professor and another year and a half as a legal content editor.

Since relocating to Melbourne in 2018, Joey worked as a Customer Service Specialist for six years while pursuing her law degree. She recently completed a Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University and is currently undertaking my Practical Legal Training at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. Once completed, she looks forward to being admitted as an Australian Lawyer.

Before joining Polaron, Joey worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm while also being one of Polaron’s Youth Advisory Panel members.
